What does buying out of our collection mean?
We sell dresses out of our collection, which means our brides will walk out of our boutique with her dream dress in hand! We carry sizes 2-36. You can take home your dress the same day you fall in love with it. Our inventory is constantly changing, therefore we can not provide catalogs.
Can I special order my gown?
Yes! At our Sarasota location, most gowns are special ordered. At our Tampa location, some gowns may be special ordered. When you come to your appointment, your bridal stylist will tell you all about your different options.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive at the exact time of your reservation. Likely, we have another appointment immediately following your reservation. We wouldn't want less time to take away from your experience.
Who should I bring?
Bring family and friends who's opinion you value the most and who will be crucial in helping you make a decision. Bring anyone whom you couldn't "say yes to the dress" without! This time should be reserved for adults and those 12 and older to insure that our attention can be focused on our brides.
How long is my reservation?
In our main show room, your appointment will be for 90 minutes. While here, you and your group will work with a dedicated bridal stylist to help you find your dream dress. However, we also take reservations for our VIP Diamond Suite. In the Diamond Suite, your appointment can be for up to 2 hours.
Should I bring in pictures of dresses I like?
Yes! But the most important thing is to bring an open mind as well. You encourgae our brides to try on gowns in styles that they did not previously consider. In many instances, brides are pleasantly surprised.
How long does it take for a special order gown to arrive?
Since Covid-19, Special order gowns have taken as long as five to nine months to arrive at our store once we place the order. Different designers and manufacturers can vary on the shipping time, so in most cases we suggest allowing at least ten months or more so brides receive their gown and can make alterations in time for the wedding day.
When should a bride make an appointment with the seamstress for her first appointment?
Our seamstresses prefer seeing the bride 2-3 months before her wedding for her first appointment. This insures that the seamstress will have plenty of time to make the necessary adjustments to the gown so that it is customized to fit the bride like a glove! This also ensures that rush fees can be avoided. Don't forget to bring your wedding shoes and all wedding undergarmets to your alterations appointment so that the seamstress can alter your hem.
